Safety and Risk Management is hosting a Forklift Operator Safety course. The Forklift Operator Safety course incorporates the latest data on safe opeartion of forklifts and powered pallet jacks. The course meets the OSHA 1910.178 standard for Powered Industrial Trucks. This is a required course for any individuals that will be operating a forklift. This is a 2-part course: First hour indoor classroom, Second hour on-site hands-on.
The classroom portion of the class will be held at the Safety and Risk Management building in the 2nd floor training room. The hands-on portion of the class will be held at your location, using the forklift you will typically utilize.
