Life After the Fall-An Evening with Jordan Burnham

MSU hosts Mr. Jordan Burnham as a keynote speaker for Mental Health Awareness Week. Jordan tells his powerful story of survival from depression and attempted suicide. Jordan made good grades and was a popular student and star athlete. He kept hidden his internal struggles with depression and during his senior year of high school, he attempted to take his own life. Jordan's miraculous survival propelled him to get help for his depression and begin a courageous recovery. Today he is a speaker and educator on depression, suicide, and emotional wellness. He has been featured in Sports Illustrated, People Magazine, and USA Today, and on ESPN, Dr. Phil, and CNN. His ESPN documentary, "Unbreakable," was nominated for an Emmy and won two Gold Awards at the New York Film Festival. Jordan's presentation has been described as enlightening, witty, informative, funny, and inspiring.
