Everest workshop for teachers

MSU hosts a free workshop for K-8 teachers called "Mount Everest and Montana: Connecting the Science of the Himalayas to the Northern Rockies." Pre-registration is required.
The workshop includes an overview of a curriculum that covers science, research and math related to Mount Everest and the Himalayas. Conrad Anker, who climbed Mount Everest last year as part of the Everest Education Expedition, will be on hand to introduce the curriculum and share his experiences.
The cost of this event is: Free, but pre-registration is required
