Knocking on Heaven's Door

Lisa Randall, the Frank B. Baird, Jr. Professor of Science at Harvard University and bestselling author of "Warped Passages" and "Knocking on Heaven's Door", will give a public talk on the latest ideas in physics and the role of science in our lives. Randall was the first tenured woman inthe Princeton University physics department and the first tenured female theoretical physicist atboth MIT and Harvard University. She is a leading expert on particle physics and cosmology, and in particular, the possible role played by extra dimensions of space.
