Robert Gardner, a Ph.D. candidate in the History graduate program, will defend his dissertation on March 19th at 2pm in the Bradley Conference room (Wilson Hall room 2-257). The title of his dissertation is "Technological Forests: Engineering Nature with Tree Planting on the Great Plains, 1870-1965." This talk is open to the public.
