Take Back the Night
Strand Union Building, Ballroom C
Nationally, 1 out of 3 women and 1 out of every 6 men have experienced sexual or relationship violence in their lifetime at the hands of someone they know. Organizers of this years' Take Back the Night believe it's time to make a change.
This years' Take Back the Night events will provide an opportunity for men and women to come together to take a stand against violence and provide those who have been impacted with an opportunity to speak out and heal. The Breaking the Silence art display, Survivor Speak-Out, Take Back the Night March, and Rock Against Rape events provide us the opportunity to come together, share our stories, and raise our voices against violence. All events are FREE and the community is invited to attend.
Please show your support by joining us on Thursday, April 4th for our Take Back the Night Rally and March. We hope to see you at these events:
