Cooley Lab Symposium & Ribbon Cutting

Monday, April 15, 2013 from 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Strand Union Building, Procrastinator Theater

Please join us to celebrate the completion of the Cooley Laboratory renovation.

The project, which was funded with a $14.9 million investment from the National Institutes of Health, transformed the 52-year old building into a state-of-the-art biomedical research facility. Researchers working in the renovated building are from three disciplines: Microbiology, Cell Biology and Neuroscience, and Immunology and Infectious Diseases.

The event will feature a talk by world-renowned stem cell researcher and immunologist, Irving Weissman. The Montana native and MSU alumnus is the director of Stanford University's Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine. View a complete schedule of events.
