Deadline for Online Programs and Courses Request for Ideas (RFI)
Provost Potvin is again requesting ideas for online certificates, degree programs and courses, including the conversion of face-to-face courses to an online format. This RFP is funded with money committed by President Cruzado in 2011 for supporting growth and quality in online instruction.
New online programs are intended to reach new, non-traditional students or previously under-served populations; while development of online courses will meet campus students' needs for flexible scheduling options with quality online learning.
All proposals must have the support of the department head and dean. Deans will gather and prioritize proposals from their respective colleges and email the narratives and/or forms to firstname.lastname@example.org by May 10, 2013.
An individual faculty member or department may submit both a program and a course for development; deans will prioritize their Colleges' proposals for programs and courses separately.
