Living History Farm
Museum of the Rockies
Experience the daily life of a Montana homesteader at the Museum's turn of the century Living History Farm. Costumed interpreters will take you back in time as you watch them cooking over a wood-burning stove, tending to the Heirloom Gardens, and forging iron in the blacksmith shop. The Living History Farm highlights an original 1890s homestead house built by the Tinsley family of Willow Creek, Montana, during the homesteading era. Enjoy the beautiful sights of the garden, the wonderful smells of home cooked meals, and the ambiance of an era gone by.
