TBD

Frans de Waal author of "The Age of Empathy:  Nature's Lessons for a Kinder Society" will speak with select students throughout the day. Sponsored by Phi Kappa Phi and the American Computer Museum, de Waal brings a fresh look at empathy and how it impacts society. A Dutch primatologist and ethologist by trade, de Waal has explored primate interactions and how they compare to man. Using what he describes as the "Pillars of Morality" de Waal discusses the roles of reciprocity and empathy. Using photographs and video from years of research, de Waal educates and entertains as he highlights "empathy" in the Year of Engaged Leadership.

The American Computer & Robotics Museum is sponsoring Frans de Waal's visit.
