Honors College Speaker Series: Open Forum on Global Nuclear Security

The Honors College is pleased to present an open forum on Global Nuclear Security with Ambassador Brooke D. Anderson and Dr. Charles Curtis, as part of the Year of Engaged Leadership. This event will be on September 26th, 2013 at 7 PM in Gaines 101.
Dr. Charlie Curtis, is President Emeritus of the Nuclear Threat Initiative and Senior Advisor at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, former Deputy Secretary of Energy and former member of the Nuclear Weapons Council. Dr. Curtis chairs the World Institute for Nuclear Security.
Ambassador Brooke D. Anderson, is former Chief of Staff and Counselor for the White House National Security Staff; Alternate Representative for Special Political Affairs at the UN; Chief National Security Spokesperson and Policy Advisor for the Obama-Biden Transition Team; during the Clinton Administration Ambassador Anderson was a Special Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs and Senior Director for Communications.
