Herrick Hall

The hall is headquarters for family and consumer sciences (formerly home economics), as well as the food and nutrition laboratories, early childhood education, and the MSU Child Development Center lab.

Built in 1926, the name honors Mrs. Una Herrick, first dean of women who served MSC students 1911-32.

The fourth College of EHHD Outstanding Faculty Lecture series features Dr. Carmen Byker Shanks, assistant professor in food and nutrition/sustainable food and bioenergy systems, who will present "Let Me Share a Secret: Small Modificatiions that Make Big Impacts on What You Eat."
