Hapner is an all-female residence hall where residents form close communities and create a home-like atmosphere. The Hapner Hall government has a great tradition of providing exciting activities such as the Hapner Formal. Resident Advisors often hold programs on such topics as nutrition, study skills, self-defense, campus personal safety, gender communication, yoga, and a variety of other women’s issues.

Built in 1959, this all-female residence hall was named for Leora Hapner, head of the education and psychology department 1932-47. The hall was built in 1959.
