Strand Union Building

Many people think of the SUB as the living room or the hearthstone of the campus. Its uses are as varied as the people who gather here. The MSU Bookstore, Exit Gallery, KGLT radio, numerous eateries, meeting rooms, and conference services. It also houses the Office of Admissions and offices for student government, student activities and special support programs are all under this roof.

The building was named for A.L. Strand, the first MSU alumnus to become president, 1937-42.

LunchPad @ The LaunchPad

The Blackstone Launchpad program encourages entrepreneurial thinking and activity to help create a new generation of entrepreneurs who will contribute to the economic revitalization of Montana. The LaunchPad provides education and mentorship by experienced business professionals for inspired students and alumni on the campus of Montana State University.

Training Session for Faculty Leading Students Abroad

Faculty training session for leaders of study abroad student groups will be held Tuesday, April 22, 6:30 p.m. Topics covered will be safety and risk, emergency response and health issue. For more information contact Kevin Brustuen, 994-7512. 

The University Facilities Planning Board at MSU will hold an open meeting in the Procrastinator Theater to collect input on the site for the new Norm Asbjornson Innovation Center. All interested faculty, staff, students and community members are invited to attend to learn more about the site input process and to provide feedback.
